Hi I couldn't see if there was an answer to the 2nd to last problem (the 10y/o girl w/ Ancef). I got 8.4 but I wasn't sure if it was the maximum dosage for the day or if I should double that (2x daily). Can you please explain how you got the answer?
01/04/2016 – MondayHi, I just viewed your tutoring session today.. and I have a question on the example for the one regarding the nurse caring for a client with an RX for Neoral (Cyclosporine)…why is the answer 0.9? when I use the calculator dividing 181 /2 it's = 90.875 = 91 = just 9. how does it come out to 0.9 ml and not just 9 ml? please let me know in details. I am not that great with math.. And by the way, great tutoring video 🙂
the last quesions answer I couldn't see so I don't know I did it right or wrong

Wow. I was looking for a video for my med-math nursing students to watch as a review during a holiday weekend and came across this. It's very distracting hearing you talk to your cyber students. This may be fine and well as an interactive review the way you used it. But for someone looking at this otherwise, it's distracting & confusing. Also, why don't you know how to pronounce most medication names correctly?? If you're a nurse, proper pronunciation is very important.
where are the answers to these questions?
caring 4 you . net/answer.html
whats the conversion website?
thank you for the kind words. It is not important that you can't really see the video because it was originally a virtual class but if you go to my website there is a lot of free nclex material there as well.
You are great!
Absolutely, it is slow going because all of the books are too involved and I know what I want to teach. I have made 2 med classification videos so far. Thought I was going to make six but it will probably be more like 10. The students need something thorough but still simple enough so they can choose the right answer under pressure. This is why these things will take time — it has to be thorough, short, precise and correct! The Series is Pharmacology For The NCLEX Part 1, 2, 3 ect.
thanks for your help you are such great teacher. could you please go over the rest of the classification.

The questions are the same on the NCLEX. They are still taking the questions out of a pool of 3000 questions. What has changed is the percentages. I did a list from 2010 compared to April 1 2013
