I wanted to become an arts administrator because I love art and since I was a kid I've done photography and my dad's an architect and that was one way that he was able to remember the buildings and kind of capture them in his memory and so connecting with him with photography really made me think outside the box in terms of I can do this as a career but I didn't quite know if I wanted to study art history and do a masters PhD in that if that was something that was right for me and especially once I left law school and I realized I want to be in the museum setting and I want to be around art all the time what are other things that I can do and so I started looking at the administration aspect is something that took my analytical logical side as well as creative art and merging them and what I'm doing right now in terms of membership really takes fundraising event planning and creativity all into one
